It is in very good vintage condition, but expect some cracks and wear due to its age and as shown in the pictures. It has heavy duty metal side handles and a metal clasp which does not quite align with its lock anymore. You can still close it - it just won't fit snugly over the closing loop.

When I discovered it, it had been allowed to get a little damp, so I have treated the inside with bicarb of soda and lined it with scented paper to overcome the musty smell. It lingers a little bit, but is not offensive and the inside is completely dry. With another course of bicarb, you could probably eliminate the odour altogether.
