This vintage Mason Cash pudding bowl in off white is a perfect size for an individual pudding! Dating back to 1901, Mason Cash bowls are classic English kitchenware, made of beautiful, timeless ironstone / earthenware.
This bowl is in lovely condition with no chips or cracks (v slight discolouration/patina on part of the rim as shown). It bears the maker’s mark underneath and the number 42.
These bowls are for making delicious traditional English steamed puddings.
The thick walls of these bowls allow for steady heat and the rims around the top make it easy to securely tie a cover over the bowl. They could also be used for mixing.
I have a range of these in stock (see my other listings) and they would make a lovely housewarming gift for a keen baker with an eye for timeless kitchen design.
Stack these bowls up in your kitchen for a stunning and timeless kitchen style display of white ironstone.
