Vintage Belgian Mirland & Co confiture ceramic jar

£18.00

– Sold Out

A gorgeous antique French confiture pot or jar, with blue print on the white background. These were used for storage of plums and date from the 1920s.

This jar is a great size and would look very pretty paired with other jars. Ideal for a farmhouse or cottage interior or kitchen. There is a small blemish on the bottom as shown in photos.

These beautiful jars were sourced from an old Belgian factory that was closed down in 1940. They are unused ceramic jars and in very good condition for their age, but have the odd speck of age / blemish on them , but no chips or cracks. Each jar has the blue Mirland and Co motif to the front, pretty relief decoration to the top, ridge imprints to the base and the makers mark to the bottom.

Perfect to display flowers, store pencils, small kitchen utensils (teaspoons). It would look lovely on the shelf as a simple , yet effective decor.

Size: 9cm tall and 11cm across
