A lovely vintage Mason Cash pudding bowl in off white/light cream. Dating back to 1901, Mason Cash bowls are classic English kitchenware, made of beautiful, timeless ironstone / earthenware.
This bowl is in lovely condition with no chips or cracks (v slight discolouration/patina on part of the rim as shown). It bears the maker’s mark underneath and the number 42.
These bowls are for making delicious traditional English steamed puddings - perfect for cosying up in your kitchen and dining room this Autumn and Winter. How about using them for making a traditional Christmas pudding?
The thick walls of these bowls allow for steady heat and the rims around the top make it easy to securely tie a cover over the bowl. They could also be used for mixing.
