Pudding bowls were used to steam British-style puddings, such as “Eve’s Pudding” and “Christmas Pudding”. The thick walls allowed for steady heat and the rims around the top made it easy to securely tie a cover over the bowl. They could also be used for mixing. Perfect for festive baking!
These traditional white ceramic bowls were standard items in every kitchen and used for everything from weighing out ingredients for baking/pudding making, to storage. In great preloved and used condition with no chips or cracks. They are impressed on the base with the makers name, Mason & Cash and the number 36.
