I love decorating with the seasons and as autumn descends, this is the perfect time to start thinking about adding some cosy style to your home.
I love to keep things simple though and aligned with my interior aesthetic of considered and curated timeless finds - you won't find any day glo pumpkins here!
For subtle, seasonal home styling this autumn, try these three decorating tips:
1. Use shape and scale in interesting ways
I love a fall pumpkin, but it has to be groups of mini baby boos (odd numbers of course, that old styling trick still holds fast) or a statement gourd! I love playing with scale and this rule helps prevent clutter and helps your styling looks intentional rather than random.

2. Consider your colour scheme
In my home, I have a palette of earthy neutrals with splashes of verdant green. And I like to keep my seasonal styling in sync with this. So natural foliage with neutral home decor (like these beautiful mini stoneware pitchers) and some fresh fruit is the way to go for me.
3. Your home, your style
I use seasonal decor to accent my existing interior style. Which as you know is very much on the rustic, French farmhouse end of things with beautiful vintage and antique homewares. So for me, autumn style is a riot of baby boo pumpkins tumbling out of a vintage French iron soupiere or seasonal foliage in an earthy terracotta pot.
How about you? What home decor screams autumn to you?
